The full diagnostic, in two halves. How AI answers about you, and the demand around you.
The Search and Ask Workup is where a practice starts. The Ask reads how the AI engines answer about you, question by question, and whether they get the facts right. The Search reads the demand in your metro and whether you show up for it. One report, both worlds, every number scoped to the market each office actually competes in.
Two halves, because your clients live in two worlds now.
Some of your patients still type a question into a search box. More of them, every month, ask an AI engine instead and act on whatever it says. The Workup measures both, on the same practice, so you can see where the demand is and how the machines are answering it.
How the AI engines answer about you. Not a single score, but the whole behavior: how often they name you, on which questions, who they name instead, and whether what they say is even true.
- Named-in rate as a band, per engine, never blended
- The journey question ledger, in the order a client travels
- Who is named instead of you, on every near-me ask
- The because-clause: why the engine picks who it picks
- Accuracy against the public registry for your field
- The handoff check and a verbatim booking simulation
- Coverage and cost visibility when patients ask what you take
The demand around you, measured honestly. What people search for in your metro, what you rank for, the demand you are absent from, and whether your site and your people are even findable.
- Top branded and non-branded keywords, rank and volume
- The demand you are completely absent from
- The journey ladder: question-share against your own content
- Trust and schema audit: structured data, NAP, credentials
- Provider findability, each practitioner checked
- Competitors and the keywords they target, as an add-on
All data DMA-scoped. Carries up to 5 locations, each reported on its own, because a near-me answer changes from one metro to the next.
This is what the page actually looks like.
A few default sections from The Ask, rendered for an example ENT practice with example numbers. Click through them. The full Workup runs both halves and every default section, plus whatever add-ons you pick.

The headline band with its floor, from the sample Workup.

Per engine, never blended, each with its own band.

The journey ledger: every question, every engine, named or not, and who was named instead.

The booking simulation transcript, verbatim, with the outcome line.
What is in the base, and what you can add.
The base $449 Workup includes every default section across both halves. Add-ons are $29 each, and the Competitors section is $99. Nothing is hidden, and you only pay for the sections you want.

Part two · The Search · defaults
Add-ons · pick any · $29 each, Competitors $99
The ends of the report are built from the middle.
Every section earns its place by feeding the bookends. The opening Insights and the closing To-dos are not fixed copy. They recompose from exactly the sections you include, so nothing in the report is an appendix.
The handful of things that matter most, pulled up from the sections below. Add the Competitors section and its findings appear here automatically. Leave it out and the Insights recompose without it.
The defaults across both halves, plus your add-ons. Each one declares what it feeds: an Insight, a To-do, a step in the execution plan, or more than one. A section that feeds nothing would be an appendix, so there are none.
A prioritized to-do list and a 30, 60, and 90 day plan, assembled from the same sections. The work is sequenced, not just listed, so you know what to do first and what can wait.
The method holds. The grammar of trust changes.
The Workup is a single diagnostic engine, tuned per vertical. What stays constant is the discipline: the bands, the ledger, the accuracy checks, the honest measurement. What changes is everything that makes the answers real for your field. Here is what moves.
| What changes | Medical | Legal | Wealth | Mental & behavioral health |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Journey shape | Symptom → condition → procedure → provider → book | Problem → rights → process → firm → retain | Life-event → options → strategy → advisor → engage | Feeling → naming it → getting help, with a crisis-safety slot ahead of the ladder |
| Trust signals checked | Board certification, hospital affiliation, years, insurance accepted | Bar admission, years, reported cases, peer rating | Fiduciary status, CFP or CFA, AUM, fee model | License type (LCSW, LMFT, PhD, MD), modality, sliding scale, telehealth states |
| Compliance frame | HIPAA-safe, no outcome claims, board advertising rules | No attorney-client relationship, bar advertising rules, no result guarantees | FINRA and SEC advertising, no performance promises, fiduciary disclosure | Crisis-safety disclaimer and 988 handoff, no diagnosis, stigma-aware framing |
| Registry verified against | NPI | State bar number | FINRA CRD and SEC IAPD | NPI, plus state license |
The mental and behavioral health frame carries the extra weight: a crisis-aware slot that sits ahead of the booking journey, so the simulation never mishandles a query that needs a hotline instead of an appointment. This is the depth the per-vertical research is for.
The differences are the parts that keep the report honest.
We band the number and say which movement is real and which is noise. A single naked score, the industry standard, hides how much an AI answer swings from one run to the next.
Every figure reflects the metro each office competes in, up to five locations. We never print a national visibility number for a local practice, because it describes nothing.
Built for fields where the facts have to be right: medicine, law, wealth, mental health. The trust signals, the compliance frame, and the registry all change with the field.
We anchor you to the public record, your NPI, bar number, or CRD, and check what the engines say against it. The named practitioner, verified, not a brand-scale guess.
The full method, run counts and all, is a free public Standard anyone can read and hold us to. Nothing about how the number is made is hidden.
$449 on the page, add-ons priced in plain sight. No demo gate, no quote-only wall, no login required to find out what it costs.
Where the categories stop, and where the Workup keeps going.
The market splits into a few camps. Enterprise dashboards built for national brands. Local rank trackers. Sellers of one-time link and audit reports. Each does its own thing well. None of them does what a high-trust local practice actually needs, all in one deliverable.
| Does it… | Enterprise dashboards Semrush, Ahrefs, Profound, Peec |
Local trackers BrightLocal, Local Falcon |
Audit & link sellers CiteLens, MassMonopoly, Metricus |

Category-level comparison drawn from our own vendor research. Named vendors are leaders in each camp, not an exhaustive list, and we describe only what their own materials claim.
This is our doctor. This is our patient.
A generic tool asks generic questions and gets generic answers. The Workup asks the questions your actual clients ask, in the words they actually use, because behind every vertical is a research bible we wrote first.
Thirty-two specialty research bibles, one per field we serve, each with the provider persona: the credentials that matter, the procedures and services, the trust signals a client weighs, and the registry that governs the field. That is why the accuracy ledger checks the right facts and the trust audit looks for the right things.
Each bible also carries the client persona: the vague first question, the real fear underneath it, the exact path from symptom or problem to booking. That is the journey the ledger follows and the conversation the booking simulation runs. The questions are real because the research is real.
Per-vertical research depth is what separates a real diagnostic from a form letter with your name pasted in.
