The banner, and your choices
A banner appears on your first visit, wherever you are, and Google Analytics doesn't load until you click Accept. The banner has two buttons, Accept and Decline. "Your Privacy Choices" at the bottom of every page opens our preference panel. It shows what's always on, lets you turn analytics on or off, and confirms we don't use advertising cookies. If you turn analytics off, it stops at once and we delete its cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off unless you switch it on.
Google Analytics runs only on aeoptim.com addresses, and never on the order, run, result or report pages, whatever you choose.

If you switch on notifications in your AEOptim Visibility dashboard, your browser keeps a small notification script from growth.aeoptim.com so it can show them. Turning notifications off in your browser removes its permission.
Requests that leave your browser
Apart from storage, some pages make requests to outside hosts. Those requests show your IP address and browser to whoever answers them, even with no cookie involved.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves every page, so it sees every request.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface on our order, run and report pages, the AEOptim Visibility pages and proposals. The main pages of aeoptim.com serve it from our own server.
- Google's city suggestions load on order and setup pages with a city field. What you type there goes to Google.
- Google Analytics 4, only if you allow it.
- Our bot check and Stripe, only where described above.
What we don't use
No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn tag, no Google Ads or other remarketing tags, no advertising pixels of any kind. No session recording or heatmaps. No fingerprinting. No cross-site tracking. We don't sell or share your browsing data. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Controlling all of it
Your browser can block or delete cookies and site data at any time, and most browsers let you do it for one site. Blocking storage here costs you little. Two exceptions: block the bot check and our forms and checkout can't confirm you're a person; block Stripe's cookies and the payment form won't work. If the bot check stops you from running the free check, email human@aeoptim.com and we'll run it by hand and send you the answer.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything that stores data in your browser, it's listed here first and the date at the top changes.
- October 1, 2026: Added aeo_ok to the table of what we store.
- October 1, 2026: Analytics now load only after you click Accept, wherever you are, and turning them off deletes their cookies. Added the preference panel and a table of everything we store, including the AEOptim Visibility dashboard, document and proposal cookies.
